Once you’ve selected a hosting plan, you'll register a replacement domain with HostGator, purchase one from another provider, or transfer an existing one.

Once in your cPanel, you'll complete the subsequent steps.
- Navigate to the Software section and click on on the QuickInstall tool.

- Under Blog Title, enter the name of your website.
- Under Admin Username, enter your preferred username.

How to Create Your Site in WordPress

Step 1: Change Your WordPress URL
- Click Settings within the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select General.
- Update the WordPress Address and Site Address fields to https://yourdomainname.com.
- Click Save Changes.
Step 2: Change Your Permalink Settings
- Click Settings within the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select Permalinks.
- Click Post Name or whichever structure you favor.
- Click Save Changes.
Step 3: Choose Your WordPress Theme
- Click Appearance within the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select Themes.
- Click the Add New button at the highest of the screen.
- Then click the Upload Theme button. You’ll find the theme during a .zip file on your computer.
- If you added and uploaded multiple themes, you'll preview them to narrow down your selection.
- Once you’ve chosen one, click the Activate button.
- Once activated, you'll customize it.
Step 4: Customize Your Site With Plugins
- Click Plugins within the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select Add New.
- Browse the plugin archive until you discover one you wish.
